Can anybody tell me if the Nex 7 is getting discontinued before i buy one ??

With any electronics manufacturer, there is no preset length of time that will elapse before a product becomes 'discontinued' and it usually depends upon the amount of time it takes to release an updated model. Having said all of this, once a camera does fall into this category, Sony still supports the previous version. For example, any software updates are published on the main support site for the camera i.e. the NEX-7 support page can be found here:
