Play Memories update has corrupted all my RAW files

I've recently updated to Play Memories 2.0 but this process has corrupted all my RAW files that were imported using PM and PMB over the last 3 years, some 16000 files. They will not open with any other software such as IDC and DxO optics pro.

When I use DxO to attempt to open the files it states the EXIF data cannot be read or is corrupted. Folders that contain RAW files not added to the PM folder list remain intact.

Is there any way to recover the images?

If possible, could you please upload one of the corrupted files so that I can look into this further for you and try and fix the data. I don't think it will be possible to put an invalid photo file into this forum message but you could use a free online file sharing service such as Dropbox.

If you upload the file there and provide a download link, I will see if I can retrieve the data.
