Double subtitles??? Bravia Core..

Why am I getting double subtitles when different languages are on the films on Bravia core..

Hi @D-Law81   I would imagine that one is embedded and one is added by turning Subtitles on. What do you see when you turn off the added Subtitles?

Hi as far as I know all subtitles are turned off..

Subtitles on Bravia core is off and on TV settings is set to off.

Hey @D-Law81, so what is your TV model? and are you getting these double subtitles with all apps or BRAVIA Core only? Also have you tried any troubleshooting steps?

Hi I have Sony 65 X94J and it only does it on Bravia core, but I have only watch Bad Boys For life and it's when they speak a different language other than English.. Thanks for replying. Does it do it to you.. I have checked settings but what setting would you have..

Tested on Netflix works fine..

I turned subtitles ON and now only single when speaking different language,

 but when subtitles off it doubles 

Maybe error with the app..??

When you disable the TV subtitles, do you still have one left? Maybe it's embedded to the movie. Or, does it disable both?

When subtitles OFF I get both bold and white but there are no texts when English is spoke as there should be none when off.

 when turned on I get white on English spoken as normal but only bold on other language..
