After updating the firmware to Android 12 on Sony TV Bravia XR-55a80j, the HDMI ports have stopped working. When I select the HDMI port as the source, I can't see the image sent from the connected PS5, Apple TV and Sky Box Q.
Changing the port or cable does not help. I tried changing the HDMI standard, enhanced, Dolby Vision, and VRR modes, but none of the settings helped. I also tested Disabling CEC (Bravia sync), clearing the ExternalInputServices application data and cache, turning everything off, and plugging in one device at a time. All without any result.
Is there anything else I can do, or should I wait for the new firmware?
If the TV is out of warranty, does support take care of fixing the issues caused by the firmware update?

I was able to solve the issue by conducting a factory reset. Unfortunately, I had to set up everything from scratch.
ive similar issues, my freesat not showing on the hdmi its connected to, however ive way too much stored on my tv and im not gonna do a factory reset because i already know it failed for others and theres a 50 / 50 chance it wont fix the issue.
Sony need to give their heads a wobble, who the hell coded this android 12 update for sony, a 5 yr old!!
