How can I tell if my Sony TV is 4K?

I have a model ref KD-55XF8796.

The paperwork I have that came with the TV when originally purchased doesn't mention 4K or indeed any other K.

There must be an easy way to find out, right ?

The model number tells you, KDL- = HD, KD- = UHD (4K).

Technically your TV is UHD 3840x2160. 4K = 4096x2160 although commonly used to refer to a UHD TV.

I should mention, that to watch anything in UHD or 4K, you will need a UHD or 4K source like Sky Q, or a native App like Netflix Premium etc.
