Hi,

when I open camera in my phone, it shows the message.."Upto 2MP resolution supported", eventhough camera is 8MP and even the picture quality is not upto the mark.

Please let me know if there is any setting that needs to be updated.

The message appears when "Portrait Retouch" is enabled. Just disable this option.

Thank you, that worked fine..

but still the camera quality is not good. Can you please suggest me the default camera settings for the best of 8MP capture?

Please I really want to experience the best of SONY camera in my phone...

Well, admit it. This is what the 8 megapixel shooter offers. Don't expect the Xperia C to do miracles. Instead, sell it off, and purchase the Xperia C.
This is what I had done. With the money I recieved, I purchased the much cheaper and superior XPERIA SP. The Xperia C was lousy, and it was a cheap (but costly), fake version of the Xperia Z.
Sony better pull this **bleep** off the production line as soon as possible.
