Remote For HDR-CX240E

Hi

Does anyone know if there is a third party or Sony remote - ideally IR but wired would be OK - for the HDR-CX240E camcorder.

I believe these are compatible with your HDR-CX240E

• RMT-VP1K : HERE
• RM-VPR1 : HERE

Page 21 and 22 of the manual : HERE describe how you can use your Smart Phone to remotely operate the camcorder

However I strongly advise you to contact Sony's Sales line: HERE to confirm compatibility before purchasing.  Better to be safe and double check, as this is as much as my Googling can get
