Protected Page??

I have a sony ereader PRS-300 which was working fine until i plugged it into my new computer to charge and now when i go to read anything on it it says protected page???

Does the 300 have a soft reset ? If so, I'd try that, otherwise, a full reset - but it'll wipe all content, so you need to back up, but I presume you can't get to the reader's library ?

I got scared. I just bought a new computer and about to connect my reader to it. I hope this won't happen to me as I also have PRS-300. I will make a follow up if this problem happens.
