Sony - Aerosense Drones

Hi all

Just wanted to post about the new Sony Aerosense drones just in case our members hadn't seen them.

There were 2 on display at IFA this year:

These  videos show  the fully automatic flight of the smaller model, the AS-MC02-P, and the prototype test flight of the larger model/ The vertical takeoff is impressive for the design.

They were designed for use in surveying and civil engineering and construction, and they can also create 3 dimensional data from aerial imaging.

The plane styled one looks awesome!

The quadcopter doesn't look that special though.

Yeah I agree, the pane looked amazing.

I got 'droned' on the beach a month or so ago.

Wish I'd have had the big one to send up and take it down lol.
