Hi And Welcome Happy Viewing.
Maybe I can reach some with my experience and I`ll do it for my whole life in www - I will never ever buy or support for sony – and no one should. It’s not the same as it was in that time of my parents
Sinse last 11 years I have
3x TV's, (=2800)
1x handycam HDR-SR12 (=1200)
1x CD-Player and (=113)
1xDVD Players (=240) – also
1x Amplifire with 5.1 speakers (=420) and
3x sony Walkman (=210) for kids and
2x headphone(=100)
And not mentioned the peripheral tools.
1x tablet (=750) - with does not work anymore with 50W829 since update – and now its my 50W829 (2years old) which does not become android – I it’s no problem to fill it with android – realy – I know what I´m talking about.
So I Spend 5800 for sony with a pure support on all products; I`m happy not bought PS4 J
It is my promise to SONY – NEVER EVER !!

Hello. The DCM-HX90 compact. Is it possable to slience the noise the shutter makes when making a single exposure? I would be grateful if you could spare the time to reply. Best wishes, Pete.
Hi @petebutler348 and welcome to the Community
I don't have that model but I don't think you can.
There are no references in the manuals for silent shooting etc.
A new A6500 user here. I moved from Nikon D7100. Still selling my old gear, that is why I only have the kit lens, which is very good for street photography, though.
I'm going to start a Finnish Fb page for Sony A6000 series photographers, so I welcome everyone from Finland – or Finnish speaking person – to join.
Hello , I`m new to the `Community` . Is it likely that you will get a response to a PC tech question , or should I be contacting someone from Sony on a different thread ? Many thanks .
Hi, welcome to the Sony UK Community!
This is a good place to get tech advice for PCs, or at least find out where you can get help.Be sure to ask on the appropriate forum
Good luck
Mick
