Battery drains fast since upgrade

Hi since upgrading my Sony Xperia (Model # LT26i) to Jelly Bean Build 6.2.B.0.200 (Android Version 4.1.2) the battery drains super quick despite setting to Extended Standby Mode.

This seems to be a common issue .. Please advise how can I resolve this?

there are other threads on the same topic, use the search bar, keep in mind that it might be an app that is syncing and thus draining your battery faster
