Bluetooth pairing always fails.

When i try to pair my Desktop and my Xperia Active vía Bluetooth, i always get two different pairing codes (i'm using the assistant from windows 7 64bits) on the screen of my Active it shows a code, and my PC shows another completly different, no matter how many times i tried, is always the same, and is imposible for me to connect my smartphone to my PC. Is there any solution? Please help. Thanks

initiate the paring only on one side, the phone or the pc. first

open both device's bluetooth

my active usually initiates the paring first. make your phone discoverable

I guess you could Slightly_smiling_Face

can't you disable the pc's search and pair? just let it sit turned on. or try turning one device first before the other to let the other one discover the device first.

It sounds like you're initiating the pairing from both devices.

Can you describe, step by step, how you are doing this?

The correct way to do this may differ as the Bluetooth software in computers can vary in looks and features.

And that program "Bluetooth manager" is from Windows? or from your Bluetooth devise (do you use a laptop?), and also your Active is on Gigerbread, I'm on Seven and my Active have the latest update (ICS), and i repeat, I've done EVERITHING, EVERY POSSIBLE CONFIGURATION, and always the same result, pairing codes are different all the time, is there any Bluetooth manager for seven? or maybe my bluetooth devise (did you see it?) sucks... Thanks anyway noiramlb, I know you are traying to help...
