Charging problem. can anyone help me.

1 ) I have put my xperia u on charging. LED show red light. it is on charge but battery indication on phone screen shows "no movement of charging". even battery are not charging at the same time. no indication of how much percentage it is charged.

I have to restart my phone every time to charge it properly. after restart - all function work good. battery icon on phone screen show charging. red

indication of LED, also percentage of charging indication on screen shows it is charging.

2) another problem is that even I attached my phone through USB. Charging of my phone through USB data cable is not working. I found the problem same as mention in point (1).

If possible I suggest that you check if the same problem can be replicated using another charger.

If yes check if reinstalling the phone software via SUS could help.

Hi Mounal,

I experienced exactly the same problem as you mentioned in point 1. Through USB-connected cable I have no problem. But when I charge through standard charger, it makes exactly the same as you decribed - only red led is illuminating, but it's not charging. I have to restart the phone and after restart it shows real % status of battery. It is charging, but we cannot see the progress without phone restart. I have sw version 6.0.B.3.184. That's only one bug till now. Older .564 version was without this bug.

I have wait untill official ICS update. but after updating my Xperia U the problem remain the same. still there is charging problem in ICS also. now what johan?:smileyplain:
