Edge, 3G network icons not showing up

Edge and 3G network icons are not showing up though data traffic turned on, plz dont suggest me to repair hence i've tried

Can you access internet in the phone? Try turning off WiFi if you have it turned on, since it will close down data network via 3G/edge.

Hi Stan here from Philippines. Just encountered the same issue. Xperia P unable to detect Broadband signals from Network.

Tried the usual stuff turning it off and on, manual select network even tried  reset settings and still unable to pick up broadband signals.

Would you know how can i remove the original settings?

After that maybe I can download new settings from my Network provider.

Hi stan you don't have to remove anything jst go to Settings->Xperia->Internet Settings->allow data traffic (pop up), im a normal user like you plz don't address me sir gud luck

When you are on WiFi network your phone doesn't need to transfer data via the network operator, since you get it from the WiFi. You are still able to make and receive calls, it's just the data that's handled via WiFi instead of the phone network.
