Gallery Folder Problem

Hi,

I have a folder in my image gallery with no name at all and about 104 images (that I recall seeing in the Tumblr app)... I've never seen this folder and I never asked to save the images that are in it (FYI there are several repeated about 10 times)... If I try to erase any image or the whole folder, the phone gives me an error message that only allows me to close the gallery and get back to the main menu...

I'd like to know if this happened to anyone else, or if someone knows what's wrong and what can I do to erase it...

Thanks in advance...

sony has this problem with deleted images, it doesn't seem to process the info fast enough and then shows them as broken...
the thing that helped me with that is going to settings, apps, manage apps, all, media storage > clear data, then restart your phone and give it 5-10 minutes

may I suggest using another gallery app like quickpic, where you can exclude folders you don't want to see? Slightly_smiling_Face

Tumblr app clearly uses it for caching.

Go to Settings > Apps > All > Tumblr > Clear Cache and/or Clear Data.

It should get rid of these files.

I've tried it and the folder is still there... I've even tried to uninstall the app and erase everything related to it, and its still there...

delete the folder with file manager

Ok, I just tried that, most of the images were erased, except for one or another (that I would like to erase as well)... The folder its still there (nowhere to be found in the file manager) and the images appear as "broken file"...

I still would like to know if its possible to erase the folder or the remaining files... I'm still browsing the file manager but can't find it...

Thank you so much for both of you Rosie-Posie and dragpyre... That actually solved it!!! Plus I got a new app that is 300 times more appealing than the original gallery app... This is actually my first android and I'm always thinking that some hacker just screwed my phone... xD

Once again thank you very much!!! ;D

you're welcome

and don't worry about hackers, just pay attention to permissions when you're installing new apps
if anything doesn't make sense, skip that app

also, you don't need any antivirus apps, task killers or battery savers... Winking_Face
