how come its always playing the default msg tonE..ive change to others,but it still plays the default

Perhaps you changed the ringtone for sms but not for phonecalls

did u change correctly? tone setting for messaging in the messaging application itself. not in the settings.  in your messagin app, click menu > ssettingd notification tone and select a different tone. or u can scroll down to the bottom and select your own audio or mp3.
