I assume I've missed something really obvious here, but can anyone explain how to exit the browser in one click, without having to scroll back through every single page I've looked at in that session? I assumed the browser on this phone would work like any other browser - i.e. I go onto a web page; & when I then move onto another page it 'replaces' the page I was looking at before (if I do not open them in separate tabs / windows). But instead I find it has kept every single page I've looked at, so to 'exit' (clicking on the bottom left key), I have to go back through every single page I've looked at - which can be 20-30 pages! This is crazy & cannot be right; please can someone tell me what magic 'EXIT' button I have missed here..?!

You should swipe down on the middle of the page (and not from the top). It will bring the browser tabs icon on the top right.
Download the latest browser
Such as Dolphin
It depends on which firmware you are using ie: Gingerbread or Ics cream sandwich as each have there own quick ways,
For example using Gingerbread you click the bottom right button or dot and choose windows then click the "X" next to each window you wish to close
ICS - Swiping down on a page brings the browser tabs icon on the top right, once you click on this you can see all of the pages open. To close a page you can simply swipe it away or hit the X on the top right.
Thanks
I'm using the latest firmware - ICS. Sorry I don't get 'swiping down a page'? if I swipe down the page I just get the black page with all my notifications on - the page that normally comes up when you swipe from the top of rhe screen? There is no browser tab icon. When I swipe back up it exits the browser but if I go back in the last page is still there & still no way to exit without going back through all the pages.
It woulod be much easier if we could send screenshots on this forum...!
Thanks. It would help if all this was more obvious & we wouldn't hagve to post messages about it...!
