How to get bluetooth tethering work?

Hello,

is there any experience with bluetooth hotspot and bluetooth tethering of internet connection?

I would like to get a bluetooth tethering between Xperia SP and Xperia Tablet S. Initiating the connection via Xperia Link works fine but instead of a bluetooth hotspot Xperia SP builds a Wifi hotspot... Because of battery reasons i would like to use a bluetooth hotspot to share the internet connection. How to get this work? I tried several times, maybe there is a firmware bug?

As far as I understand it is not possible to use Bluetooth tethering to a Xperia tablet S by default. So I suggest that you use Wi-Fi hotspot instead.

Alexander, thank you for this helpful information, i guess some 3rd party press releases did not get that so far.

Moreover: Could you please share a link to set up a Bluetooth tethering between Xperia SP and Xperia Tablet S ? As far as i understood it is possibly but not default...
