Live With Walkman's Camera

I bought a SE Live Walkman about a month ago. I have noticed that the pictures I click are pixelated and have a lot of noise. This happens a lot of times (2 or 3 pictures of 30 I took are not pixelated) I lowered the resolution from 5 MP to 2 MP , but the problem was not fixed. Also, the issue does not happen in specific settings as the pictures I took were in daylight as well as in darkness, the objects were far as well as close. I checked other forums (GSMArena, foearena) about LWW and the photos shown there are of better quality. When I check the picture's properties, they were taken at 72 dpi. Is there any way of changing this density ? I can also upload the pictures from my phone if anybody wants to check. I cleared the camera's cache from settings --> applications --> manage applications --> all --> camera --> clear data. The very next picture I took after clearing the cache was ok. the second picture had too much noise again. Is this normal ? Plased help.

There's no setting for the DPI of the picture's taken with the camera in non of our phone's, not as a standard at least.

If you take photos in dark environments it's more likely that the picture's get "noisy" since it increases the ISO-level used in the camera.

If the problem appears also in daylight and more bright environments it sounds like it would be wise to try performing a repair of your phone's software.

You can easily perform the interaction with our program Sony PC Companion, available for download from the link below.

thanks for your reply. I tested the camera by taking some shots outdoors during daytime - they dont have that much noise. I gues the camera does not work too well in the dark.
