Lock Screen touch problem

The touch input is not working properly when I try to unlock the phone by sliding the lock icon and even when using the visible pattern lock. I have to try multiple times before I am able to unlock it properly. Please reply,i don't no what to do to make it work,i have tried resetting the phones settings but that didn't work.

ok now try a software repair... it might be a software glitch

Update/Repair your phone via SEUS or PCC

SEUS ( Sony Ericsson Update Service)  ... download it and install it on your pc and follow the on-screen instructionshttp://www-support-downloads.sonymobile.com/Software%20Downloads/Update_Service_Setup-2.11.12.5.exe

      PCC (PC COMPANION) – Repair your software with this .First do the setup without connecting your mobile to pc.(only connect when you are asked to). Do it as follow >> PCC > SUPPORT ZONE> SOFTWARE UPDATE> REPAIR SOFTWARE (written with blue)

Do you have a protective casing over the phone?

Yes the screen protector that was provided with the phone.

No, I mean a protective casing, not screen protector. If none, it could be a software issue, you may follow Nabeelraza's advice to software repair phone.

Hi all friend.My phone mode xperia Neo. i have a problem with unlock screen. i must to mluti slide to unlock screen. even i try to reset phone factory, still cannot solve this problem.

One simple thing to try is to pause momentarily on the right hand side when you slide, rather than simply flicking across and taking your finger straight off.

and while unlocking/sliding, take care, not to touch anywhere else on the screen

if still you feel that the problem is getting worse then perform a software repair. it might be a software glitch . For it see my first post, above
