Memory cards

Hi

I have a Mini Pro SK17i. Is it possible to password protect the SD Card.

I have Safehouse on my laptop and USBs and it works very well. Can it work on my phone?

Also I am getting very fuzzy photos on the rear camera lens it almost looks as if there is a plastic film over the lens, could this be the case.

I have had a good look but cannot see an edge to the plastic to pull off.

Thanks tdc4266

yes u can and also u can keep ur memory card password from the mobile itself, in mobile go to location and security>there u can find option to protect ur sd card with password.

Hi

thanks for the response.

I had a look at what you sugest before the posting.

I am looking again and the only thing that mentions passwords is visible passwords or setup sim card lock.

Maybe I am not looking in the righy place can you be more specific.

Thanks tdc4266

Hi

I have just taken another look.

I have the screen lock on using the Pattern Code. I could use a password or pin. This does the job for locking the phone.

If some one removes the memory card can they get at the contents.

Thanks.

Yes pattern lock only protects phone not memory card!

If you remove memory card all contents can be accessible!

BTW that set password in location and security is for credential storage, how it can be used for protecting Memory card content? Thinking_Face

Hi there

thanks to all for the info.

I am kooking at Pocket secure V5.

On the web page it says works with Pocket PC, PPC phone edition devices, supporting 2003, 2003SE, WM5 and WM6.

I think the SK17i is WM5 or 6!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can you confirm PS V5 will work on the phone.

As you can tell I am no expert.:smileyconfused:

Thanks tdc4266

your Xperia it's an ANDROID not a windows phone
