No update available (wt) ?

So my phone is on version 4.0.4, and when I connect it to the PC suite it says there is no update, how do I get the update.

Oh , OK that will probably never happen, since I just bought it 3 days ago and it doesn't have an update, they probably don't care, I have a question is it dependant on the SIM (if I get a card from say a british mate will it help) or the phone itself?

Yeah I read that, but don't want to void the waranty when its only 3 days in (2 year waranty here) will definetly buy my next phone of the internet. Had a samsung before and noticed this, android support here is horendous, when compared to apple. Its like they ring the providers up and say so do you want your clients to have the newest and best, no thanks.
