Putting GB Onyx theme on ICS?

Hi, all. I recently upgraded from GB to ICS, and while I am happy with most changes (most notably the audio quality seems better!), I just can't see the screen as easy with the new themes available (eyesight related issues).

The GB Onyx theme was so perfect for me, and I don't see a way to use it on ICS now - all the others are there still.

I can change the background, the Settings menu (and menus in other apps) are workable (though not as easy as in GB theme), but it's just different in a bad way. (messaging is quite different with the other themes, and it's hard to use).

Is there anything I can do without reverting to GB, unrooting or installing a different ROM? Thanks!

Well, after some testing, I found I could simply copy DefaultThemes.apk from the Gingerbread ROM to the ICS one and I got the Gingerbread themes - woohoo!

I am trying to do a similar thing on Xperia S now, however, but the XperiaS ROM is completely different from the ArcS ROMs Slightly_frowning_Face

As I understand this is not possible to do without downgrading, rooting or installing another ROM.

I suggest that you check over at the XDA forums if there is a way to get this theme without risking your warranty.
