hello,
i m running ICS 4.0.4 on my neo v.
a couple of hours back i got this idea about sharing my PC's net connection with my phone via ad hoc.
So i created an ad hoc network and turned on internet sharing..
while other PC's could easily connect to the network, my device wasn't even able to detect the ad hoc network..
so i tried a little googling and found that none of the android devices can detect ad hocs, neither are there any apps that can help do the job.
So please suggest how can i do it..?
it would really help in saving the mobile's data connection big time..:smileyhappy:

Are you using a wired broadband connection in your PC...?
If so then there is a software called "Connectify-me" which can create a WiFi network with your broadband connection and also have the option to protect your created wifi network by your desired password.
In phone you can search for this wifi network and save your mobile data
