Tipo contacts problem

Hello guys,

About a week ago I restarted the phone at which point it had a notification saying a certain process has stopped working. I wasn't paying enough attention and just dismissed it. However, I now find that my 'contacts' were gone and when I try to create a new contact, that would disappear aswell.

I tried both the 'Factory data reset' and 'Settings reset' but the problem remains, the contacts do not show up in the contact list even-though for texts the name would show up.

Has anyone experienced this or know how to fix this?

It appears you have a filter on your contacts. Please try this:

Main men u> Contacts > Menu Button > Filter > Uncheck all options under "Filter Contacts" > Check all options under "Contacts to Display" > Done.
