Have been consistently been trying to update Xperia Arc S on Telstra network for months and receive the same issues every time. Please help!
Laptop meets all requirements for PC companion install and installs fine. When running software update I always receive a notification stating:
"Server Not Accessible - PC Companion needs to connect to online server. The server is not currently accessible. Please try again later."
I then select the option to repair the phone and follow the prompts. Software runs the repair then I am met with:
"Problem: Unable to run update components on your computer.
Details: Sony Update Engine Failure (error 1100)
Troubleshooting: Please check your internet connection (I am correctly connected to ADSL2+ LAN), as update components need to connect and download large files from the internet, then try again (*).
(*) We also recommend you to restart your computer before trying to update your phone again." I've done this several times.
Once I select OK the software returns to the update screen and my handset software is as it was before the attempts.
Please help!

No luck with SUS. Have tried it before and tried it again now. When I start it up after the install I always get a side scrolling green bar with the message "Resolving network settings". Then once it's finished I receive the error message "Unable to connect to the network, please check your network connection and try again". Software then closes once I hit the OK button.
I am connected by LAN cable to network and have also tried over wireless.
