well according to the specs for this well specified model, skype is not available im afraid, also can you be more specific with your question regarding your BDP-S470 please, what is it you wish to know.

well on the computer it states that you can use certain dvd players for attaching skype that my train of thought tony

as far as i can make out, the only player in the Sony stable capable of skype is the flagship BDP-S780 model.
