About a week ago at 1 am (I was watching a late film on BBC 2), the screen suddenly went blank and said 'no event information' . When I turned the set off and on again the screen had coloured vertical stripes down it and would not clear. Since then it has got better but the stripes come up whenever I turn the set and usually take about 15 seconds to clear, sometimes longer and sometimes not going at all. Any ideas?
I checked the digital signal using the Digital set-up menu on the TV and it is fine.
