Hi all,
I own a Sony W829 TV, I can successfully play MKV files via DLNA/USB using the in-built Media Player on this TV, but there is no way to check if it is playing at 60p or 24p.
I have tried multiple files.
Any advice?

Hi there
The specs state 24p True Cinema is supported. I believe you needs to set "Scene Select" to "Auto (24p Sync)"

Also have a look at "Picture Mode" for "Cinema 1" or "Cinema 2"

One last thing, have a look at "MotionFlow" and "True Cinema"
Cheers
Any idea how to detect if the TV is then playing in 24p and not 60p? Is there some sort of button on the remote or can I detect this some other way please?
Btw, thanks for the quick responses.
Im not really sure to be honest. What does it say when you press the i+ info button when playing back a file? Thats really the only way.
Once again, the supported codecs list for your TV, only mention 30fps and 60fps.... as maximums
Its a little confusing too. 24p via HDMI is definately supported, but not much info on usb/dlna file playback.
