I made a clean Win7 Home Premium install on my Vaio. I was happy to get rid of Vista and the 'original garbage'. Assisted by Blencogo I found the way where to find and how to install the functionfiles. The Vaio with Win7 runs now OK.
I put copies of the installed files with a 'how to do manual' on a usb-stick which I placed in the Win7 box; ready to use when it is time for a reinstall. I know that the day will come.
