Your problem is very strange !!! in fact !!!
Because even if your computer don't reconize the battery, you succeed to open it and run it... that's mean your computer is running ...
Do you mean ? maybe when you use your computer without AC connexion, then it's doesn't work ? or it's working anyway but don't locate where your batterry is ?
There is many reason for the battery not to be reconised, but generally it's better a problem related with the hardware than the software..... check it directly with your dealer... maybe just a wrong connexion....:smileygrin:
