Hi, I have a Vaio VGN-NR38S, I tried to delete all my personal info before giving it to my daughter, sorry guys but the MOST important bit didn't paste here, I stupidly DELETED THE OS Vista Home premium also. could anyone help please. TY, Pete

Hi Pete,

The simplest method is to return the notebook to factory settings.

You can do this either with the recovery disks you should have created or by using the hidden recovery partition if it has not been deleted. To access the recovery partition tap F10 at boot.

The trouble shooting guide will provide more details of the procedure.
