Help with word 2010 problem.........

Hi, I have a problem with word in that it won't work. Everytime I try to get into it it just says it cannot be opened and to try again (which doesn't work) or repair in control panel - it doesn't say how to do this though and I am new to windows 7 and I just can't work out how to do it. Can anyone help?

Hi Kemlyn83 and welcome,

Assuming that it is the same procedure as Microsoft Office 2007, open Control Panel and then the Programmes feature. Scroll down to Microsoft Office 2010, right click on it and select Change. Select Repair and then Continue.
