Want to install maximum memory and monster graphics card to meet modern game requirements. My serial (RX405) is not recognised when asking for product info. Does anybody have specs for upgade possibilities. Can I buy via Sony?

You can uprade the RAM up to 1GigaByte. But you can't use a Monster graphic card. The Power supply isn't able to handle newest Graphics card. But you could take a look at low-budget cards with passive cooling. Be sure it's a AGP 8x card.

Anyway, be sure that you can change the card in the shop. If it doesn't work. You could buy Ram from Sony, but it's 2-3 times more expensive than in any other e-shop. Take a look at "Crucial.com".

Yes you could buy from Sony you will pay through the nose. Most here go to Crucial. Download their nifty hardware assessment software and it will tell you the modules of ram and range of graphics cards available at 30% the cost with a guarantee however it might be a good idea to remove the Crucial ram if you need to put your desktop into Sony for warranty reasons and replace the old ram (so hang onto it)
