Trouble with DVD's

Hi! Got a problem on my FR102... It can't read burned DVD...
To be precise, it reads the disk two or three times, then stops, or read it VERY slowly...

Any suggestion? On my desktop PC I updated DVD's firmware and resolved...

Check VAIO-Link for a firmware update.

Try a different brand of DVD RW. It could be that your is drive is not writing properly either because of this. Have a look on google for a reliable manufacturer.

Make sure you get Ritek type surface DVD

And make sure it's + or - or RAM or whatever type of DVD RW your computer takes. Using the wrong type causes mucho troubles.

The strange thing is that my drive readed the DVD the first times, then stops. On another drive, no problem. With original DVD's (movies or software ones) there's no problem, drive reads perfectly.

The DVD on Vaio is a DVD/CDRW combo drive...

Their drives are very sensitive.
