Why won't my Sony Vaio laptop let me log in?

It shows 'welcome' and looks like it's loading but then displays a message saying 'The User Profile Service service failed the logon' 'User profile profile cannot be loaded'. Can anyone help please?

Hi miffed-vaio.

Unfortunately, this seems to be a common Microsoft problem.  The solution is not simple but is fairly well documented.  Have a read of these links: -
