MEX-BT3100U and Xperia Z1

Hi

I recently bought a MEX-BT3100U, which I am reasonably happy with, however, I can not use it to browse music on my Sony Xperia Z1 - has anyone else had this issue or know of a fix?

I don't have those products but wondered if the App Remote by Sony Corporation may help.

thanks for the reply 

I already have the App Remote (It works really well!) sadly it means I can only browse music from my phone - other phones I can use the head unit to browse music. Slighly annoying as I though both devices being from the same vendor would ensure comaptability..
