My Walkman NW-E99 is showing "Format Error" every time it is switched on.
The history is as follows. I used Sonic Stage version 4.3 to delete the old selection of music, and started to add new items via Sonic Stage. .
The NW-E99 is a 1 gig unit in total, made up of 2 half gig hard drives. (These appear as 2 separate hard drives on Windows XP). Only a handfull of songs were accepted before the drives said that they were full, leaving hours of blank space on both drives.
I looked up the causes for this, and was advised to reformat and download and run "The Driver & MP3 File Manager Ver.1.2 Installer for Network Walkman NW-E99", which I did, and now have a completely useless Walkman.
