Suddenly my Sony Tablet Z started to make a lot of false (phantom) clicks. Those happen on one side of the screen, mostly on one corer. If I turn the tablet, those clicks still happen on the same corner.
It seems that the problem escalated after the last update.
How to get rid of that problem? it's really annoying
My tablet is Sony Tablet Z SGP321 Android 4.1.2 (10.1.1.A.1.307)

Yes, seems that 4.2.2 fixes that issue.
I have also updated to 4.2.2 and haven't had any false clicks for about a week now...
Seems really strange. Did you try to reset your tablet after you updated it? If not, give it a try.

I had the same issue but it was phantom clicks down the middle. Mostly happened when the tablet came out of sleep mode. See dots on the attached. That said, when I updated to the latest update it seems to have fixed the issue. Been using the tablet now for 24 hours and no more phantom clicks.
Its not strange its happenning on all Xperia Z Tablets running 4.2.2 ! Need a solution fast !
