Glass Disc on screen

Loving the X but.. to the left of the front camera there is a glass disc stuck onto it whats this for?

@thepeltonian Under that disc is the NFC sensor, moved from the back of the device like we were used before. I think it can be removed, but let me check.

EDIT: You can safely remove the plastic disc.

Yeah, remove it, that's the first thing that I did.

My previous M5 have a sticker telling that it is dual sim.

The NFC is at a strange location, which have its good and bad points.
