Screen stays on after fully charged

Hey Guys

I am having a wierd and annoying issue with my new Xperia X

When I put the phone on to charge overnight a couple times when i got up during the night I have noticed that the screen is on constantly on. 

A few times when I wake up in the morning and I check my phone the screen was on too.

I have checked that Daydream is off and that Developer options > Screen awake is disabled too. The phone is only a few days old.

Any ideas?

Have you found any solution for this as I'm having the exact same problem. Driving me insane.

I would reccomend testing on another direct wall socket with nothing else plugged in.

since yesterday, my phone just charges 1 sec and then its stops, and this process repeats for hours, so my phone wont fully charge ever. i used 3 different cables and still no change..... didnt do anything special:/

Why does the orange led light keep blinking when charging by power adapter? Using usb charging also same issue. It will also has notification sound when blink.

it shouldn't blink, unless, it's not charging all the time, try different usb cables and report back.

Is the notification sound like the charger is plugged in repeatedly?
If so try a different power outlet

Yes, it sound like plug in repeatedly. I have tried different power outlet and also other USB cables. The orange led still blinking.

i just charged my phone and now it stays in the white xperia screen in de beginning :S 

how can i reset my phone ?  off button does not work
