Force shutdown the phone

How do i restart the X P if the phone is stuck. does it have a reset button or any other method?

for example if another phone is stuck/freezed we can remove the battery and re insert it.

how to do such thing on xperia P ?

This response helped me when my Xperia Z1 was stuck on an application launching and trying to turn off with the on/off button did not respond. Thank you.
