two screens notification icon

Hello

When i start my device a big message or icon saying "POWER OFF" appears and i have to press the back or home button in order to go to the "enter pin code screen":

After this, when the home screen appears i always have a two blue screens notification icon on the top left of the screen:

If i tap on this icon this is what appears:

This icon never disappear and the only way that i have to quit this icon is forcing stop through this screen

Is this normal?, If this isn´t normal, how could i fix this?

Try to contact your seller.

At last, the solution offered from the sony customer service is repair the device in a sony repair store. But first i´ll try to get a new phone from the seller too.

All, an update. My retailer was happy to exchange the phone, however it's now a couple of days since I did the "repair phone" in PC companion (which updated me to 4.4.2) and the problem has gone away today. Whether this is just coincidence or not I couldn't say. But if any one gets this issue it might be worth waiting a couple of days after a Pc companion repair to see.

Hi All,

I received my 2nd phone and on the startup I was really afraid, because I got the Power Off button again and a text message saying:

"FACTORY STARTUP SEVICE - Please wait for on-screen POWER OFF button"

I then pressed this button once and the phone turned off.

The button never appeared again and the phone now works fine, thanks god!

This is an app that's used during production to verify that the touch input works. It's triggered when a specific TA-parameter is not set but before the phone leaves production this parameter is set so you should not see this in a unit you buy in a store.
As gatinho76 says, pressing the button should remove the pop-up permanently but if pressing power off doesn't work and remove this pop-up permanently you need to contact a service location to have the phone flashed with a specific update. A repair in PC Companion or Bridge for Mac can't fix this i'm afraid.

For more information about how to submit your phone to service and where, contact your local support team.
