Xperia Miro: Internal Memory Issues

I am currently unable to update my apps asthere is not enough internal memory for them.  If I update one I have to delete antoer, I have already deleted all but a few of those on the phone that I can delete and it's still not helping. I have also resorted to uninstalliong updates and blocking further updates to the majority of apps that came with the phone.

I am aware that images and videos are using a lot of memory, is there a way for me to set the phone so that they are saved on the SD card rather than the internal memory?  Am I able to have apps saved to the SD card too?

I am fed up of apps crashing because I can't update them and who knows what it's doing to my phone.  Short or reverting back to my old handset, what do I do?

Transfer your files etc to an SD card then delete them from internal memory to free up space

Thank you for your response but this is not really an answer to what I posted.

I know that I can manually take all of the information i.e. images, videos etc. off my phone, and I do it periodically.

The issue lies with the fact that everything whether it's a downloaded app, image or piece of music, it all goes to my internal memory.  I am wanting to know if I can change that so I don't constanly have to remove information the manual way or remove apps and such.

That is what I am looking to find out.
