Smart connect interference

Smart connect starts off music in other apps not connected what so ever with it. I have been trying to signal issue to Sony but just wasted hours. Useless they just don't listen.

Smart connect sets music on an home wifi audio system called Sonos even if it is not selected as a smart connect app.

I hope someone reads this.

Just to make sure, you have the Xperia XZ? which Android version? build number?

Try clearing the cached data of Smart Connect:

Go to Settings -> Apps & notifications -> App info -> Smart Connect -> Storage -> Clear data -> Restart your phone. You can also Uninstall its updates from the same page then re-install it after a restart.

Never used smart connect for any other app but music ....

Does not work, in my opinion smart connect has a bug. When commanding play music it spreads the command to other apps , which are not default apps
