Disply hanging after a few seconds

My Xperia Shiws notificatiobs from top and hangs . If do lock and unlock process becomes normal for few seconds and hang it again.please sujjest a solution.

Hi @SQ2, sorry to hear about this.

Is this something you have started to notice very recently or has it been occurring for a while?

A good place to start the troubleshooting is to make sure that none of your downloaded applications is the cause of this. This can be done if you restart the device in safe mode and use it as you normally do.

In safe mode all downloaded applications are temporarily disabled and we can easily see if one of them is the cause of this.

Let me know how the device works in safe mode and we'll take it from there!

problem still Continuing. Notification comingfrom top and then Hang.even after i repired the software. once notification comes further touch willnot work until phone do lock and unlock. and the problem will come after few seconds.

Hi again @SQ2, sorry for the late reply. I have been out of office.

Is it only when the notification comes down regarding Xperia home that this occurs? What if you tap on it after you turn the screen on again, or does it hang again and there is no time to do anything?

If you have an SD card in the device, can you try and temporarily remove this and see if there is any change? As you have already performed a software repair, it could very well be hardware related, but I have seen similar behaviour occurring due to a defect SD card.
