Help - Z5 will not charge

So my lovely Z5 suddenly decided today not to charge.

If i plugged it into pc it would make a ping noise but not charge. If I plugged it into socket it would not charge.

It has now run out of charge and if ipress the power button shows the red empty battory thing on the screen but it wont charge.

i read some places about holding down power and volume up and the same time .. if i do this after about 5s it makes 3 vibration noises in quick successsion but does nothing else!

any help or ideas much appreciated!!

Make sure there isn't any moisture left in the USB if you've recently submerged in water or got it wet, I usually use tissue to dry my USB and headphone jack

connect the phone to a wall charger > press and hold power & volume up for 10 seconds > let it charge for 2 - 3 hours. test the wall charger with other devices.

Are you using the original usb cable and charger?

Make sure no bits or dust are in the USB port..

um no, its actualy a samsung charger but i have used that every day with it and was fine til this afternoon 😞

when i plug it into computer it makes a noise so something is going on .. just wont charge.

Have you tried another charger/cable at all?
