Set unlock range in bluetooth unlock

I remember my z2 was able to set the bluetooth unlock range between my phone and my smartband at android 4.4, but this function seen gone in android 5.1,i can unlock my phone in android 5.1 with any range just need the bluetooth connected. Any solution to let me set the range of unlock?

Have you added the smartband as a trusted device?

Yes ,i set it, but didn't have the option like 4.4 which can set the range.like set between 1 meter. In 5.1 it unlock in any range

Unfortunately, I believe that's a restriction by Google, that's how it's supposed to work.

Hi @yuanshen99,

In Android 4.4 we had added this feature ourselves and most devices also supported the option to set the range. However, since Android 5 Google added this feature as a standard to Android but it does not have the option to set the range.
