Just posting to say that I have edited my original post about the material of the back panel.

I'm sorry, but that was the technical information I had at the time but now the information about the back panel is correct.

Then in that case I'd guess you need to tell the rest of Sony this! Since I received a reply from from Sony Xperia Support this morning stating that the "Sony Xperia Z1 Compact has scratch-resistant, tempered glass on both the back and the front. There is an anti shatter film on the glass that, however this film is not scratch resistant."

I have to say like many others here I feel cheated by Sony regarding this issue, the build quality was one of the factors that made be buy this phone.

Does xperia Z1 Compact support apt-x codec for bluetooth?

I can't find anything on this subjet. Sony does not mention it in Z1 Compact specs sheet (unlike for the Z1 ultra), but a page dedicated to Z1 compact exist on the official apt-x website.

I would appreciate if someone could enlighten me on this subject.

I am using sony xperia z1 and i had replaced my phone 3 timeas till the date of purchase(oct 2013) due to yellow hue and still i have the same problem. The Sony service center again assuring me that they will replace my set but they are not able to address the remedy for the problem. Please if someone has solution for this problem post it

I'm thinking of buying this smartphone and I tried it out in a near retail shop. I noticed that the volume button/trigger had no pressure point like my current mobile, a Galaxy Nexus. Is it common to this device or was it just a bad one?

if you compare z1c camera with z1, z1 takes much more better pics. 

why is that ? it has same hardware with z1. and we payed same money!!! are you kidding ?? if it wont fix with next firmware i wont buy sony anymore!

I want to know if the Z1C has any anti-scratch technology in its back. I see a lot of people complainng about scraches in the back...

I have one question and one request

1. Is the new magnetic dock for the Z1 Compact (DK32) compatible with the "Compact Side Opening Book Case" (SMA5140CF)?  I noticed the dock comes with an adapter for use when the phone is in a case, but it doesn't explain what case.

2. Please make something like the CP12 (http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/products/accessories/power-cover-cp12/) for the Xperia Z1 Compact!
