This is a machine that I've had for years, and which has caused me very few problems. Just recently, however, I tried to dub a recording to disc. I loaded a DVD-R - several, in fact - and the machine just could not recognise the disc.
I have not used the machine for dubbing for some time; I have never had this problem in the past.
Any suggestions?
In particular, is there a way in which I could pre-format a disc on my PC? If it is the formatting function which has failed, I might be able to fool it by loading a disc which is already formatted.
